Aliso Viejo, CA, March 13, 2008 – Just Buzzin’ By revealed their redesigned infant meal time accessories line today
made from laminated material that is PVC, Phthalate and lead free. The line is comprised of three functional items: a
splat mat, placemat and their patent-pending snap-pocket bib. The company made the decision to replace PVC in
their products with a non-toxic alternative when the company’s CEO learned of all the dangers of PVC to both children
and the environment.
“With all the bib recalls that have occurred because of the discovery of lead on the surface of PVC bibs, and the
prevalent dangers of PVC and plasticizers to infants and the environment, I felt that it was necessary to find a safe
and environmentally-friendly alternative material to use for our products,” said Sriti Misra Fusillo, Just Buzzin’ By’s
CEO/Founder. “After months of research and testing, I was able to utilize my scientific background and resources to
find a non-toxic alternative that met my expectations.”
Additionally, Just Buzzin’ By’s meal time accessories are stain, mildew and water resistant and extremely durable.
“Our new laminate material has an extremely high abrasion resistance which allows our products to withstand
vigorous use,” said Fusillo. All three products in the line can be wiped clean or rinsed, but the placemat and snap-
pocket bib have the added feature of being machine-washable as well. The products are also lightweight, easy to
transport and fold for compact storage.
The unique design of Just Buzzin’ By’s patent-pending snap-pocket bib allows for the easy removal of crumbs and
spilled food. The bottom of the bib folds up and snaps onto the back of the bib to form a crumb-catcher pocket and
unsnaps for easy cleaning. The bibs, which retail for $22.00, are generously sized to accommodate babies and
toddlers of all sizes and are comprised of laminated material on both sides to provide a completely finished look.
The splat mat, which retails for $50.00, protects floors under high chairs and tables during meal time. The splat
mats can also be used to protect surfaces during arts and crafts and other messy activities, as a sit-upon outdoors, a
table cover and a multitude of other uses. The portable placemats protect tables from messes while also providing a
sanitary, non-toxic eating surface. The reversible placemats retail for $22.00 and can be used from infancy to
adulthood.
All of the products are available in over 20 sophisticated print combinations. “We use designer fabrics that are
classic, fun, whimsical and edgy; these are not typical infant prints with ducks and bears,” says Fusillo. “It was
